Samsung looks to strengthen its position in the middle east countries market of foldable smartphones as it has expanded its premium mobile portfolio with the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold8 series and the Galaxy Watch9 lineup, introducing upgraded hardware, new artificial intelligence features and higher prices. The devices were unveiled during the company’s latest Galaxy Unpacked event and are scheduled to reach customers from August 7.
The new lineup reflects Samsung’s middle east new product continued focus on high-end consumers seeking productivity, multitasking and AI-powered experiences. The company launched its first ever not one but three foldable items, Galaxy Z Fold8, Fold8 Ultra, and Flip8 all in a single release, its biggest lineup this year for the company.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 features a redesigned form factor that is lighter, thinner and wider than its predecessor, making it easier to use while folded.

Samsung has also upgraded the internal display with improved durability and reduced screen crease visibility. Powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon chipset, the device delivers faster performance alongside enhanced Galaxy AI capabilities for productivity and everyday tasks. The flagship Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra adds premium specifications, including a 200-megapixel camera, larger battery and expanded storage options for users seeking top-tier performance.
Samsung also refreshed its smartwatch portfolio with the Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. The new wearables introduce upgraded health and fitness tracking tools, including features designed to monitor heart health, cardio performance and overall wellness. Internal hardware improvements and battery enhancements accompany the software additions, while prices have increased compared with the previous generation.
The latest product launch comes as Samsung aims to maintain its leadership in the foldable smartphone in the middle east segment amid growing competition and increasing industry interest in AI-enabled devices. Analysts view the broader lineup as an effort to appeal to a wider range of premium buyers while reinforcing Samsung’s position ahead of expected foldable launches from rival manufacturers later this year.
