Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – The KRG Ministry of Finance and Economy is pleased to announce that over 680 thousand civil servants, pensioners, security forces, and martyr families will be paid their January salaries digitally through the KRG’s financial inclusion program, MyAccount.

To date, more than 900,000 public sector beneficiaries have registered for bank accounts under MyAccount. The program has deployed nearly 550 ATMs across the Kurdistan Region, ensuring 24-hour access to cash for citizens.
The MyAccount program was announced by the Prime Minister Masrour Barzani in 2023 as part of the 9th cabinet’s agenda to modernise banking services and strengthen financial inclusion across the Kurdistan Region.
