Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) — The Ministry of Electricity is pleased to publish bill insights under the Runaki programme for the May cycle.
Most households have a billing cycle of around 41 days.

To date, Over 90% of the Kurdistan Region enjoy 24-hour electricity through Runaki.
Based on data from Runaki, around 80% of households, and in particular low-income households, continue to pay less for electricity than they did previously.
Prime Minister Masrour Barzani announced the Runaki programme in October 2024. The KRG Council of Ministers unanimously adopted the programme and new progressive tariffs in May 2025.
The KRG is planning to deliver 24-hour electricity to every home and business in Kurdistan by the end of 2026.
